The University of Lagos, in collaboration with the Association
of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), will hold a three-day workshop titled“Developing Nest Generation of Researchers”.
The event is scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: Wednesday,
July 12 –Friday, July 14 2017
Venue: Julius
Berger Hall, University of Lagos, Akoka Campus
Time: 9:00am –
4:30pm daily.
The workshop is for;
- Early career academics wishing to learn
techniques for developing themselves as researchers and as research
leaders
- Senior academics, research managers, directors
of graduate schools, and anyone with a responsibility for academic staff
development
from Universities across Nigeria and other parts of the
world.
During the workshop, participants will learn international
good practice in career and professional development planning for early career
researchers, including:
- Learning how best practice is being applied in
Nigeria.
- Hearing
first-hand from rising academic stars from across the country about how
they are forging ahead in their careers etc.
Workshop Fee
There is a
nominal fee to pay which includes refreshments/lunch and workshop materials only:
- NGN 11,000 – ACU members
- NGN 15,000 – Non members.
