REQUIREMENTS
Professor
- Candidates seeking to be
employed as professor must be a medically qualified Professor and
registered with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
- Must have MBBS, M.Sc, PhD of
Fellow of West African College of Surgeons (FWCS), Physicians (FWSP) or
any relevant equivalent qualifications.
- Must have published at least
15 Journal Articles in Peer Review Medical Journals
- Must have minimum of 15
years of continuous teaching and research experience
- Postgraduate supervision at
PhD level,
- Proven capacity for
disseminating knowledge through academic and professional leadership.
- Administrative ability and
experience
Reader
- Candidate for this position
must be a reader currently and medically qualified and registered with
MDCN with MBBS, M.Sc, PhD
- Must have published at least
13 Journal Articles in Peer Review Medical Journals
- Must have minimum of 10
years of continuous teaching and research experience.
- A minimum of three years as
a Senior Lecturer
- Postgraduate supervision at
PhD level where the program is available,
- Positive External Assessment
Reports.
Senior Lecturer
- Candidate for this position
must be a medically qualified senior lecturer currently and registered
with MDCN; with MBBS, M,Sc, PhD
- Must have published at least
10 Journal Articles in Peer Review Medical Journals
- Must have minimum of 9 years
of continuous teaching and research
- A minimum of three years as
a Lecturer.

I
- Candidate for this position
must he a medically qualified lecturer I currently and registered with
MDCN; with MBBS, M.Sc, PhD
- Must have published at least
5 Journal Articles in Peer Review Medical Journals
- Must have minimum of 7 years
of continuous teaching and research
- A minimum of three years as

must be a holder of MBBS, BDS; and medically qualified and registered with
MDCN.
- Must have published at least
