The Committee of Deans, Federal University of
Technology, Minna has honoured the Dean, School of Life Sciences, Prof. Olamide
Falusi as mark of appreciation for his attendance and commitment to duty.
The Chairman, Committee of Deans who is the Dean,
Postgraduate School, Prof. Matthew Kolo while speaking at the 267th meeting of
the Committee of Deans held at the Senate Chamber on Thursday, June 1, 2017, said
the criteria used by the Committee for selection was attendance and Prof.
Falusi scored hundred percent in attendance and commitment to all the Committee
meetings in the year 2016.
The Chairman expressed the Committee’s
appreciation to Management for their support and that the VC was invited to
make the presentation to the awardee.
Prof. Musbau Adewumi Akanji, the Vice-Chancellor
of the University, while presenting the plaque to Prof. Falusi commended and
urged him to keep up the good work.
Prof. Akanji said his administration is lucky to
have the present crop of Deans working with them and extended Management
appreciation for their effectiveness and achievements.
“I enjoy reading the recommendations from
the Deans because they are based on facts. The Deans are doing very well and
Management will continue to support them,” Prof. Akanji said.
